Florida Chapter MECCA-FL Car Wash / Cruise-in

MECCA-FL held a Car Wash / Cruise-in on August 23 at Hooter's on Thomas Drive in Panama City Beach, FL. Money was raised for the Animal Rescue Center of Bay County, cars were washed by the Hooters girls, and an all around good time was had by all. We had a good turnout with representation from most of the other local car clubs. Scott Reed Adding some spice to stock

If you've seen the pic's of my Roadrunner I've tried to keep it painfully stock... Well after a year of stock fun ... I've decided to enjoy a little horsepower improvement... While the roadrunner appeared stock on the surface.. it held a nice Clay Smith custom cam and after talking to the last owner I found he matched the Cam, Headers, Performance Intake and Carb together when he built the motor and just before I bought it.... Jerry Tail Of The Dragon

A group of us Chargers and Challengers rode to Gattlinburg Tenn.Where we hit highway 129,also known as Tail of The Dragon.It is 318 curves in 11 miles thru the moutains at Fontana Lake.Wow what a blast,mainly motorcycles run there but anyone is welcome.We really rumbled thru there with about 13 Mopar v8's.If you have never been you should give it a try. Scott Reed Ebay and Craigslist ..Nut Jobs

So this weekend I found 2 cars I thought I would be interested in and both turned out to be busts ..but in 2 different reasons ... The 1st was a 1970 Cuda listed on Ebay. The listing read well and had a few pic's. So I jumped into the bidding which was fast and furious and within an hour I get contacted to send money from the seller to hold the Cuda and it will be removed from Ebay... Jerry PINKS ALL OUT

Went to Pinks All Out few weeks ago in Concord N.C Saw some badass Mopars.They really put on a show! Zmax dragway is an awesome place,can't wait to go back. It is really state of the art when it comes to dragways. That show should air next month,with the first four car side by side drag race, it was cool! Continue

Florida Chapter New YouTube page for Florida Chapter

The Florida Chapter now has a YouTube page. We have attended several events this year and I have already made videos for some of them. Over the past couple of months our network has been going through a few changes. The MECCA network now consists of 3 major areas online, the web site (moparenthusiasts.net) the message board (http://71charger.proboards55.com/) and The social network (http://moparenthusiasts.ning.com/). This network is now completely connected, by either a banner link, or a text link like you see at the top of this page. No more hunting to navigate through the MECCA Network, now it's just one click.
